Master card and visa have been warned US financial institutions.

 

 

US financial institutions have been warned from Mastercard and Visa that thousands of credit cards were stolen in the huge breach. More than 200,000 credit cards were stolen in this.  Millions of stolen birth dates and addresses, Social Security numbers, and hundreds of thousands of credit card numbers.

 

Security expert Brian Krebs said. Clearly, Visa and Mastercard have sent secret alerts to financial institutions beyond the US notifying them of the possible fraud due to the breach. And Equifax has reportedly said the cards were all stolen at the likewise time.

 

Around more than 143 million people have been affected in the Equifax hack. Nearly half the US population.

Equifax, a credit reporting firm and holding a huge amount of people’s information. this is the highest hacks in US history. The hugest identified leak of 2017. In 2013, Yahoo is said to have lost data on roughly a record 1 billion accounts.
